SK will win. Holmes will be feeling ok about themselves for keeping it close with Beechwood, but that had more to do with Beechwood having turnoveritis.

SK...young team with too many new players that did not have a lot of varsity experience. I say they gel and come together for a win.

This could be a low scoring game, Holmes defense was impressive against Beechwood , Holmes has to find a way to get the ball in Petersons hands more, will go with Holmes in a close physcial game.

Game could be all about play-calling by the SK staff and how disipline Holmes will play.

SK is very unpredictable because of an inexperienced QB. The pass blocking will need to be a lot better than at Beechwood and conservative calls will be needed on 2nd/3rd and long. Better to avoid long yardage situations if possible. Asking a sophomore QB to win games for you is risky, not only to game results, but confidence as well. Passes will need to be caught. Blitz pick ups will need to be made. The running game will need to produce 1st downs.

 

Have not seen Holmes so I won't make any predictions, but with the injury to Travis Elliot at Ryle, and Dixie not living up to the hype, 6A is WIDE OPEN. With Kameron Schwartz finally getting his shot to play QB at Boone, I like their chances in 6A.
