theguru
I would love to hear some details on this one?
Hasbeen
Great game. Corbin trailed 14-7 late in the 4th when Corbin Jr. reciever Hunter Grubb caught his second td pass of the game. Karns recieved the kick and funbled on the first play from scrimmage. A Corbin player (sorry, I didn't catch his name) scooped it up and took it into the endzone for a 21-14 Corbin lead. Karns then went to the air and scored with about 3 minutes left and successfully went for two. Corbin picked up one more first down but then turned it over on downs. Good defensive battle until about six minutes to go in the game.
bigbluefan02
That player that scooped it was Matt Jewell.
bigbluefan02
Pretty decent game Corbin had chances to put it away but didn't. Corbin has a long way to go and from what I was told they played better tonight than at GRC (I wasn't at GRC). But the thing that puzzles me is that Karns receivers had the height all night if they would have played the whole game offensively like they did the last 6 minutes or so it could have been pretty rough. Coach Jewell will have them playing better soon. Be patient Redhound fans.
campbellfield
I didn't see a great game tonight....it was ugly on both sides. Neither team tonight looked like a "good" team. Corbin jumped off sides all night. Allowed a 1st down on a 3rd and 20+ and a 4th and 20+........Karns 2nd TD could be on ESPN's NOT top 10 plays....... Hunter Grubb HAS to touch the ball more! He probably needs to be getting the touches that MJ is getting. MJ is not a bad player but.................. Tanner Powers not stepping on the field on offense? Dalton Anderson never been an offensive starter in the backfield but now a freshman starter at fullback.......I don't understand........but I am not a coach, just my observations tonight..... DADDY CAT
How many turn overs were there in the game? Sounded like about every other touch was in the grass....

We made adjustments at the half and held Corbin scoreless in the second half till late in the 4th quarter.
