AA State championship video?

Featured Replies

John Jones taped the game. He is Russell's official film man. It is this film the coaches have discussed packaging and selling to the public. Coach Sparks may have no knowledge about this. It was really first talked about by the staff yesterday when they also found out about the KHSAA no-taping.

Where was the videographer?

Does he not get paid to do the video?

Whenever you find one let me know. I don't care who did the video, I want to buy one (or two). :thumb:

I don't believe the videographer had the appropriate field passes to video. I know he was there but I believe he left. I'm not sure the specifics behind what transpired. I think it had something to do with each team only being allowed one video person.

So why were there TV timeouts if the KHSAA wasn't taping the game????

Did insight in Louisville do it? They usually play the games.

If so, we should be able to contact them to buy copies.

I will have my hands on a copy of the tape sometime today. We are also working on getting the jumbotron video as well. I hope to have some ready to sell by the first of next week. I'll keep everyone posted. :thumb:

Make sure you clear it with the KHSAA before selling ANY video of the championship game. They have restrictions on it's use, just like they do with photographs, and it may be a violation.

Will do. I think that the AD has cleared it with them. But i'm not 100% sure.

I have a copy of the video now. As for the jumbotron footage. Sorry due to restriction we cannot get it. :irked:

We are going to starting making copies of the game tape over the weekend. It may take a while to get the original done but after that the copies will be easy.

What is the source of this tape?

I am now working on copies of the video. Shoot me a pm for more information. :thumb:

I haven't seen the tape that was made by Jones, I'm sure it's ok, but I would think if there were a big enough outcry by fans, the KHSAA would make the jumbotron footage available for sale...Also, I think it is very irresponsible of the KHSAA if they did not make the info that they were not selling copies of the games known in advance so those who wanted to could make arrangements to have professional video shot at the game...I'm not talking about the guy who does our highlight video either because that is not a complete game video from a vantage point like you would see on a televised game...Sideline clips are nice to have mixed in but it is not the best vantage point to watch a game from...
