The often scheduled and then re-scheduled Brossart (champions of 10th Region A) and Danville (champions of 12th Region A) sectional playoff game has now been moved to Champion Windows Field (Florence Freedom) for a 7pm contest which will determine the representative who will take on Prestonsburg at 11am on Saturday at Whitaker Bank Field (Formerly Applebee's) in the Touchstone Energy All "A" State Tournament.

 

We will broadcast the game live over the internet via the www.bmustangs.com website starting at 6:45pm.

Should be a good game. Both are good teams and who ever wins should have a good showing at the State Tournament.

Not that it matters one way or the other, but Champion Windows is no longer has naming rights to the stadium and it doesn't have an official name so when NKU played out there, we just used Florence Freedom Field.

 

As for the game, I would normally root for Brossart against either of the other two regions in this section, but since they're playing a 12th Region opponent, I've gotta pull for the Ads. Wish I didn't have class tomorrow or I'd try to make it out to the game. Should be, as "Good Ol' JR" Jim Ross would call it, a slobberknocker.

Danville will likely throw Rob Caudill, although Austin Baxter might get the nod. In my opinion Caudill is the best pitcher on their staff.
