Lewis County's Riley signs to play basketball at Berea:

Cody Riley made it official Wednesday when he signed to play basketball at Berea College.

Riley averaged 18.3 points and 7.2 rebounds during his senior season and scored 1,505 points during his career.

Congrats to Cody. Always glad to see a player go on and play at the next level.

What position would he play at Berea?, he was like a 6'3 center for the Lions and don't ever remember seeing him shoot from outside or handle the ball,always played with his back to the basket

Not too many years ago, Mikah Turner, another 6'3" high school center, went to Berea and morphed from probably the third scoring option on his high-school team into an all-conference small forward at Berea. It can be done.

I would say Koty will play a 4, that is where he is most comfortable, but he could play a 3. He is 6'4" and the tallest player on Berea's roster last year was just 6'4".

They signed a 6'9" kid from Minnesota who will be there in June.
