June 10, 201115 yr Author These next 2 episodes are going to be AWESOME. They are built up so good and it really is going to be chaos.
June 10, 201115 yr Author Spoiler warning. Highlight to read. What I am REALLY looking foward to is the last part of the book, when Dany comes out of the fire with the dragons. I really want to see how that looks.
June 12, 201115 yr Spoiler warning. Highlight to read..[/color]Definitely. One of my favorite scenes in the three books II've read.
June 20, 201115 yr Author Simply amazing. HBO has outdone themselves with this show. Outside of Lost and Dexter I have never like a TV series as much as I have this one. Cant wait for season 2. But first, ADWD!!!!
June 20, 201115 yr Author One thing I'm still puzzled about is the last scene with Maester Pycelle. What did that have to do with ANYTHING in the show? They could have used that time for the battle of Riverrun or something.
June 20, 201115 yr Author Side note here, George RR Martin will be in Lexington, KY August 2nd. I'm pretty sure I will be making a trip down there to see him and hopefully get an autographed book.
June 20, 201115 yr One thing I'm still puzzled about is the last scene with Maester Pycelle. What did that have to do with ANYTHING in the show? They could have used that time for the battle of Riverrun or something. I agree. If there was a similar scene in the book I don't remember it unless it was at the beginning of the second book (as was the scene with Arya). The scene with Dany at the end was very well done. I don't want your screams, I want your life. What a great line.
June 20, 201115 yr I thought the first season went very well. Can't wait for season 2 (a huge bonus is it gets us closer to the 3rd book).
February 2, 201214 yr Author Trailer for Season 2 is out. Side note- Season 1 comes out in a little over a month. I AM PUMPED.
March 6, 201214 yr I have really enjoyed the book (a few chapters into A Feast for Crows) and am really looking forward to the new season of the HBO series.
March 17, 201214 yr I got Season 1 on Blu Ray, as I had only seen the first episode randomly on HBO one day. It was really good, so I knew as soon as the show came out on Blu Ray I'd have to pick it up. I watched the entire season in one day (gotta love spring break). I can honestly say this is my new favorite show on television. I want to read the books, but it would ruin the suspense of the show for me I think. The moments of "I can't believe that just happened!!" wouldn't be there anymore. So I don't know how I'm going to approach that yet. I can't wait for Season 2 to start...
