After reading the local paper tonight, it appears as if Harrison County Pitching ace Logan Dailey has suffered a season ending arm injury. As a fan of the Harrison County Baseball programs for many years, this is such a loss for the Thorobreds. Not only is Logan a great Pitcher, he is a super young man, very polite, he just goes out and does his job, doesn't run his mouth and is one of the nicest young me you could ever meet. His parents are special too. Prayers to Logan for a speedy recovery! The article also stated that Senior lefty Ryan Durbin was not playing this year. I'm sure Coach Whitaker and staff will have them competitive in the 10th Region, but a repeat of a State Title may be out of reach now.

He tore his labrim. He is having surgery Monday. I wouldn't count Harrison County out yet, they have a lot of great hitters. Also, Brandon Kendall (sophomore) has really stepped up and is throwing the ball very well. IMO they are still the favorite by far to win the region and will compete at state.

I can't agree with the by far part of the favorite to win the Region. They have lost a lot from last year's State Championship team. Best wishes for a full recovery for Logan and good luck to the Breds.

Coach Whitaker always finds a way to make his team winners. They may be inexperienced but they have the bats, and Coach Whitaker will have the defense there when the postseason is here, you can count on that.

I hate to hear this. I hate to see any young player get injured. I wish him and his family the very best. I will keep him in my prayers.

Prayers and thoughts are with this young man. Our son is going through a similar injury and as a parent it just crushes you to see your child injured. I would trade places in a heart beat. We are all staying very positive because there has been lots of good that has come out of this. Life throws curve balls, not a matter of if, but when. Best wishes Logan!

More like 6 months depending on if they have to open him completely up or just has to do a scope. The biggest thing for him is to get his rotation back (external). This is a hard surgery to come back from for a pitcher because the biggest thing is they will want to tighten him down a big as well. Good luck to the young man.
