March 17, 201115 yr Princeton is playing disciplined basketball. There's a lot to like about their approach. They're killing it on the boards, getting lots of open looks, and shutting down Knight.
March 17, 201115 yr What an awful call. And of course, they score after getting a possession they didn't deserve.

March 17, 201115 yr What an awful call. Really screwed them out of 2 points there. Every point matters. How could every single one of those refs miss that call? Not a single one knew whose ball it was.
March 17, 201115 yr Author So far this looks like poor coaching AND poor effort. They're not playing good defense and cannot seem to run any good sets on offense. Even when they have an open shot they're not making anything. This sucks... When he was asked about what he knew about Princeton, Cal said in his media interview that he only worried about his own team and didn't watch much film on the opponent. Maybe he needs to change that philosophy.
March 17, 201115 yr On the bright side, Knight is completely playing his way out of a lottery pick this year. I'd rather see him have dominant performances and leave than have an awful performance that knocks UK out and then he leaves anyway.

I just went through an awful call that cost the high school team I film for a chance to win the game on a shoddy out of bounds call, so I'm pretty well numb to it at this point. I just remind myself they're human.
