strongopenyon
Tates Creek jumped out to a 26-4 lead. The Commodores held Henry Clay to 10 points in the first half. The Creekers play a little "D" for Coach Breeden.
BlueFan
Tates Creek pretty much coasted once they got the big lead. Henry Clay tried to come back but could not get a run going.
gold sunrise
RICHMOND — It didn't take long for Tates Creek to find its footing against Henry Clay in the boys' 11th Region opener Wednesday night. No. 11 Tates Creek left sneaker prints on the backs of the No. 21 Blue Devils early as it stampeded to a 12-0 lead in the first four minutes. The Commodores were up 26-10 at halftime, and except for a brief Henry Clay rally in the third quarter, Tates Creek Coach Wayne Breeden never had to get out his worry beads in a 63-40 blowout in toasty McBrayer Arena. IMOM
Commodores were focused as expected. Breeden's best team will be waiting on tonight's Scott County-Lexington Catholic winner for what should be a great final.

BlueFan
Don't they have a game to play before the final? Yes, they play Madison Central in the semi-final. Madison Central got their wake-up call against Franklin County. Tates Creek should win, but they won't have as easy of game as they did against Henry Clay. boonesp
This score was unexpected but I still think Madison Central can make a game of it.
sportsmaniac
If Central has any players at all, Coach Feldhaus will make it a game!
