Boone County 92 Ryle 67

I'm a little intense when it comes to my girls:)

Stating the obvious again?

I can say it will be nice to have all the teams under one roof going forward, I am tired of missing critical games due schedule conflicts.

. Last year Ryle played NCC at Ryle and guess who one of the refs was? Ryle won but for Freppon to ref a game involving his alma mater is pretty lame. !

Freppon has never reffed a NCC girls game. Ever.

Sydney gave the fans one for the ages last night- crossing any one who tried to guard her over & scoring at will & delivering pin point passes. The house would have come down if the behind the back pass was caught & executed for layup. Refs were not a factor with jenna- her fouls clearly were fouls. Moss has just clearly taken her game & intnesity to a whole new level & she clearly is the most talented & dominant player in the region - possibly the entire state. She seemingly has been improving every game for several weeks.

Hats off to Ashley Cheeseman - that young woman is a baller - with a deadly shot that just plain looks textbook. Congratulations to all the Boone players & coaches - that was a thumping.

You are 100% wrong.

Tom Freppon is one of the top officials in the 9th Region. This might be hard to believe, but I'm pretty sure that the way the game is called is determined by the girls and not someone's uncle!!!

Well stated. In reading BGP over time, it seems whenever Ryle gets beat it's a slowdown game, a team that won't run with Ryle, now the officials. Higlands and NCC played that '70s style ball to beat Ryle. Well it appears Boone was willing to go up and down the floor with Ryle and they hung 92 on them. Will CKS ever see a game that there isn't an excuse for his team?

Your stress level will be greatly reduced when Moss leaves Boone.

Probably right, but by then my favorite Ryle player will be gone too. Then a couple of years to wait for the next Crittendon all-star to hit the scene:)

P.S. I actually really enjoy watching Miss Moss play. I love great players.
You know what they say about opinions? I've watched him ref games for years and if you don't think he favors certain coaches and teams and holds grudges against certain programs and teams better get a new pair of glasses.

If the coach on Ryle feels the way you do why does she keep having him back. Apparently she must feel he isn't biased or she would scratch him. You are the one that appears to be biased.

You are 100% wrong.

Incorrect. Officials get a sheet at the beginning of each season that allows you to "scratch" teams. Since day one Tom has scratched both the NCC boys and girls. He ended up officiating one boys game for NCC when they made it to the A finals which he was already scheduled to do.

I don't make these facts up. I usually get them from a pretty good source.

How much clearer do I have to be? No excuses for the loss, just venting over the poor officiating that has been prevelant in the 9th Region all year. It was so bad in the Ryle- Ballard and Ryle- Fern Creek games against the visiting teams that even I was embarrassed. P.S. BGPer's were in a slumber this season until I decided to wake them up a few weeks ago:) I can take the heat , I'm a big boy:)

I said earlier I am not blaming the officiating for the outcome of this game. Ryle got outplayed plain and simple. I just don't go around with rose colored glasses on as do a lot of Boone fans. I call it as I see it, which is my right to do. If you don't agree with me, get in line:) The Boone County Lady Rebels are a good basketball team and have been for a very long time. Does this give them or their coach some earned right to prefferential treatment from the officials? Absolutely not, but it happens all the time in the 9th Region. I don't care if you have 601 wins or 5 wins you should be treated the same. Now, if you really don't believe this to be the case, there is no reasoning with you anyway.

Didn'y you post on an earlier boys thread about the incompetentcy of the officials in NCC's loss to Brossart? Just saying:)

Well you are wrong again. I NEVER, get, it, NEVER posted a word about officials in the NCC/Brossart game. Never even saw the game. You seem to have a real problem with facts. Obviously what you have done is turn a lot of people off to Ryle's team. You complain more yourself than any other teams entire fanbase. I really couldn't care less who wins the girl's regional, but based on your continual complaining you have lost me as a fan of Ryle. I hate complainers, and you are the worst. If you think I am wrong, look at all the responses you have received on this topic alone. Don't have many backers do you.

Not really concerned.

Either ignor them, or if the abuse warrants it, have them pitched, but NEVER talk to fans in this situation. Also, a fan NEVER has the right to comment to a player during or after the game, especially a parent.
