Just to clarify and get the record straight. Walton had several good teams when Luebbe coached them. In 2000 they were 23-7, 8th Region All A Champs, All A State Semi-Finalist, District Runner-up to Scott County who lost in regional final game and beat SK 48-36. In 2001 they were 17-11, district runner-up to Scott County who was regional champ and beat SK 69-38. In 2002 they beat SK 75-35 and lost to Scott Co. in the district. In 2003 they were 21-8 and beat SK 44-34. Looks like there was some successful teams when Luebbe coached and they dominated SK for four years. All I'm saying is that Walton has been successful in the past so don't discredit those accomplishments.

It looks like you know the program very well. I was try to tell people that Walton has a really good coach right now. I was trying to tell people to give him a break. Sorry if my comments about Luebbe and Rosen hit a sore never. Since you seem to know all the info about the Walton program, please let me know how many times coach Luebbe beat SK in the coach Stowers era. I cannot remember any. If I'm not mistaking, coach Stowers owned coach Luebbe. Most of the info

you listed stopped at 2003. In the early 2000's SK was really bad only winning very few games. This was prior to coach Stowers coming to SK. So when you say Walton beat SK in the early 2000's I am less than impressed. Again coach Stowers OWNED coach Luebbe and coach Rosen for a lot of years, and it got real ugly at times. As ugly as coach Stowers wanted it to get.

Was the practice schedule good enough for the critics this week?

Nice job Coach Miller. Keep it up.

D series; very nice photos.
Indeed, that young man in the orange shirt has some serious hops!
I know that motion offense and dribble drive are the in thing now, but with 2 girls over 6' and noone on the other team remotely close to that size, why not just play a simple high and low post pound the ball inside and then kick it back out to the shooters when they collapse? Appeared to me like Walton was playing exactly how SK would want them to.

Coach Miller runs basically the same offense as Duke. As much I hate to admit it, seems to work pretty well.

Sorry, Coach has back to back district titles, I think that says enough about his ability. My question was meant to be a basketball philosophy in general question. Just wondered why I don't see the 1-3-1 offense anymore?
