HHS v. St. X 2009 on DVD?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a copy of the HHS v. St. X game (from CBS College Sports) on DVD OR know how you can get one? I have it on the TiVo but will be needing to replace the hard drive on my TiVo, and will lose the game when I do that.

I would contact Dale or one of the coaches. I am sure they have it on DVD somewhere.

I'd hold off for a year in hopes of a commemerative box set of wins against GCL opponents. A win at the Pit would eclipse the St. Xavier game.

I don't think so , unless Elder is nationally ranked in the top 20 as Cin. X was.

Sorry HBF, I totally disagree. If HHS goes to the "Pit" and wins, I would say it's at least as big if not bigger. Even if they are not a top 20 team. I don't know if HHS will be, but if both are undefeated, or 1 loss team(s), at that stage of the year, then yes it would be bigger. Sorry you won't have a nephew playing, but neither will I. But it is what it is and will be IMO!!!

Man, see what you did. I agreed with Whackem.:D

They won @Colerain, @Indianapolis Cathedral, Louisville Trinity, @ Louisville St. X, Elder, Lakewood St. Edward, Moeller, Lasalle, and Centerville. Their only losses consisted of @ Highlands, @ St. Ignatious, then Elder got them back at a neutral site in the playoffs.

Not to take away from Trinity's great effort, but people are in awe of this years Trinity schedule and this one is much harder if you include the playoffs. Sure there are 3 glaring wins, but it is sure impressive who they beat.

Cupcakes , right Wackem ?

I'm not trying to discount the quality of X in 09' as we have gotten a little off subject. I'm just saying that a win at the "Pit" would be a much more impressive win than at home. With high expectations out of the westside team in '11, a Kentucky win would send shockwaves through the tristate and solidify the '11 Birds as the real deal. A subsequent DVD box set would make millions for the program...:D

A win at the "Pit" in 2011 would be a much bigger win for the program.......

Sorry, anytime you win a game on the road against a GCL team superseeds anything that was done in 2009. IMO!!!!!

I guess I'm a little bias due to having relatives on the " 09 " HHS team.

I'll have to agree , a win at the "pit" would be more impressive. Now I"m agreeing with Whackem . "Oh no " it's contagious ! :isurrender:

Don't be influenced by Leatherneck. It's not so bad to agree with Whackem'.
