Cam Newton has entered the draft

If he goes in the second round I'll be impressed, at this point I'm not sure how any team would say he doesn't have "character issues" or "baggage"

I'm not up on all the details but wasn't there a question as to whether or not he knew about his father's actions? Or is there more out there?

Don't confuse NCAA problems with character issues.

He will put butts in the seats from day 1 and that's all that will matter. He is a first round lock.

Good luck to him and can't wait to see him blowing kisses to Ray Lewis.

I think he's the best QB in the draft. That's not saying as much as it sounds though, because I think Locker, Mallet and Gabbert will all be below average.

I agree with you mostly, especially in regards to Locker and Gabbert. I think that one quarterback that many seem to forget about is Andy Dalton of TCU. I believe that Dalton has strong potential to excel at the next level and wouldn't be surprised to see him go in the first round. I know that many are not hyping him, but I believe there's a good chance that he could be one of the draft surprises.

I like Dalton. I wouldn't take him in round one, but if I was able to take a project QB to groom for a few years I would gladly spend a late 2nd or early 3rd on him. JMO :thumb:.
