Super strong class, no matter who is finally named. For me, the three obvious ones are Carter, Faulk and Sanders. Picking two others was hard, especially between the defensive lineman. Dent played on one of the best ever defenses, and Haley's got the rings...but I went out on a limb and took Doleman, who was a beast by himself. And then my "wildcard" pick, was Dawson, who was the model of consistency and athleticism for a decade at a position not normally glorified.

Dawson, Faulk, Sabol, Haley and Sanders. Great class.

Sanders, Faulk, Sabol, Sharpe, Dent, and two guys (via Veteran's voting) I am not familiar with made the Hall of Fame.

Only one I missed was Dawson over Dent.

I wish my boy Curtis Martin would've gotten in this year. He was my favorite player growing up and is #4 all-time on the rushing yardage list, only behind Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, and Barry Sanders.

The way I understood Martin finished ahead of Jerome Bettis in the voting. I like Martin but always just considered him a really good back with great attrition. He will make the Hall in due time.

He was really just a model of consistency. Had over 1000 yards every season from his rookie year until the year before he retired. I was also very impressed by the fact that his best season as a running back came one year before his retirement. He won the rushing title with just a hair under 1700 yards at the age of 31. Gotta love that kid of grit. :thumb:
