I think there are too many points here. I think Schult had 8.

Impressed with CovCath. Beechwood has Fangman that can score. Cruse nice player and Nussbaum works hard. Not enough depth or other scoring options for the Tigers to hang with a talented deep team like the Colonels.

To be fair TOG, you can't compare scores.

 

Covcath beats Henry Clay, who beats Lexcath, who beat Covcath handily first game of the season. Just goes to show you it's all about the match ups.

 

Congrats to the Colonels on the W. Looking forward to seeing them Tuesday night.

 

Without Drew Baker I might add.... and it was CovCath second game as well as LexCath second game of the year. First game was against Montgomery County for CovCath, LexCath first game was against Lex Dunbar.

 

But Walter, you were more than comfortable in using the Ballard game scores against Holmes and CovCath to prove you point about Holmes in another thread!

Right on target with this post History. Fangman is a heck of a player. He needs help offensively. Beechwood needs Cruse to become a consistent offensive threat and they really need Maus to get some points consistently, especially inside. Maus has nice hands and a nice shooting touch but he needs to learn how to use his size to score inside. Beechwood is still very young with 3 sophomores and one junior starting so they are a work in progress. Hopefully for Fangman's sake this season, they keep getting better and can become more of a threat by tournament time.
