February 5, 201115 yr Smith transferred from Seneca to Jefferson County High where he would be able to take expedited classes to allow him to graduate early so he could enroll at U of L for the spring semester. He did graduate but evidently did not otherwise have the total academic package to permit him to enroll.
February 5, 201115 yr To clarify my post above, Smith did not get clearance fron the NCAA Clearinghouse for early admission to UL. I do not know what criteria the NCAA uses in making such decisions but would hazard a guess that they are mainly academic.
February 6, 201115 yr Smith says he was told that UCF's QB--who is a freshman starter that led the team to an 11-3 record, a top 25 ranking and a bowl win over Georgia--will be moved to WR to make room for him. If he's that stupid I don't want him at UofL. For the record, that move to wideout has been denied in language which cannot be repeated on BGP.
