I think Joker probably would like to let Mike play, but he has a future to play for, and this would set a precedent. He made the only call that he felt he could. I understand what you are saying but I would hope that Joker "wouldn't had liked to let Hartine play". Hartline suspended was the only choice.JMO. Joker I am sure wishes that his senior QB would have had more respect for him (Joker) tha to go out and completely disrespect him and team rules.

He went out to a party and got drunk like every other college kid does. Now did he show a lapse of judgement? Yes, but 99% of college kids do the same thing when they get drunk. It happens, and he should be suspended for it, but let's not make a mountain out of a mole hill here.

If he didn't then I agree, I would think a half would have been fine. At least he had the sense to take a cab instead of driving.
