Based on the results so far I'd say Pulaski is the clear #1. True they have had only one game which could be considered a test (McCreary). But if McCreary can play with Mercer and Mercer can play with Wayne then there is no clear path to the title unless Pulaski is actually this good ( which I don't believe they are) and they have that path to the title. Right now I'd rank them

1 Pulaski

2 Wayne

3 Mercer

4-8 Southwestern McCreary, E Jess, W Jess

9 Danville

10 Boyle

 

This is about right at this point of the season. I see Wayne and Pulaski as the best 2 Teams in Region at this point in the season. I feel there are 3 0r 4 more teams that can be in the Hunt at season end. McCreary, Southwestern and Mercer have the best shot to improve to that status.

region12hoops that is too funny, I am glad you called him out on that, LoL, he is always trying to rile people! Most of the stuff he posts is to get a reaction from other people, he has gotten me more than once!

McCreary clearly is missing Watts is why we were commenting on this. Its not a sin to say a team is missing their best player that graduated from the previous year. He carried the Raiders for many years and put Robert Jones on the coaching map. Without Watts, Jones would be coaching middle school volleyball.

Awful comparison. Are you saying Coach Jones is a great recruiter and average coach? That is all Calipari is. I would even call Calipari a mediocre coach and superior recruiter.

Whats really funny about this BIG win for McCreary is that West just lost to Lincoln tonight. I guess that pretty much puts this game is its true perspective don't it?
