BGP BOYS State Rankings

Featured Replies

Here is the state rankings. 11-20 is in the news letter.

BGP BOYS TOP 20

1. Eastern

2. Jeffersontown

3. Clark County

4. Christian County

5. Seneca

6. Tates Creek

7. Bowling Green

8. Warren Central

9. Pleasure Ridge Park

10. Trinity

Warren Central is still too high. I think both of the 14th District teams are. But kudos on getting BG ahead of WC right, that's how it should be.

Didn't someone find a national ranking that had Jeffersontown and Clark County ranked. No mention of Easter though I don't believe.

Yes this is the rankings and link:

Jeffersontown checks in at #22 nationally (4th in Midwest region), while Clark Co is #9 in the Midwest region.

Surprised Scott Co isn't mentioned in the top 10.

They're going to be very tough this year and IMO might be better than PRP, Bowling Green, and Warren Central.

Not sure what Seneca returned, but are they a legit top 5 team? If so, wow that 7th region is absolutely brutal this year (AGAIN) with 4 teams in the top 10.

Seneca is not top 5...Male is not top 25

Seneca lost by 16 to Iroquois tonight, so, no, doesn't look like they're a top-five team. Probably not even top five in the Seventh Region.

Thanks for the info. After Ballard beat Scott Co tonight, I'd add them to the list of teams that could certainly end up top 10 before the end of the season.

I think we will find teams moving up and down all season in the rankings. Strength of schedule will have to be considered. I will be keeping my eye on this Iroquois team. I picked PRP in the contest to come out of that region, but Iroquois, could very well come out. Is Trinity also a #10 team? Didn't they loose alot from last year?

Trinity lost a lot but return some very good young talent with Foster, Saxton, Quick, Dieudonne, and Perito.

The lone senior, Armstrong, should provide nice size and leadership down low for the Rocks. Next year, Trinity should come in rated top 5, if not best in the state with the addition of Hicks to the above named players.

Ballard is better than 13th, IMO, and I really like Moore to surprise some people this year as well. They only lost two seniors from last years' 25-6 team.
