OK new question for the experts.

I will be getting one of these today or tomorrow at Best Buy. Both are Samsung 46" 1080p 120HZ.

LN46C670 - $899

LN46C600 - $797 (this is the one halfback talked about above)

The only differences I can find is the 670 has a contrast ratio of 150,000:1 and the 600 is only 120,000:1. The 670 is also internet connectable and has USB ports but not sure this would ever come into play.

Is the contrast ratio worth the extra $100? Here is both compared side by side. Am I missing something?

Edit: nevermind, it looks like I should have gotten the 670 yesterday if I was going to. It's gone up to $1099 now.

With tv's the technology changes very similar to that of a laptop. Something you buy now will be a few hundred dollars cheaper in less than a year. I'm sure you'll be happy with the 600 model.

One thing I think about is how would I feel a month from now if I went away from the 120KZ or LCD/Plasma. I watch a lot of TV and I want to pay the difference. Same way in buying a car. "Boy I wished I got the Sunroof and leather with the heated seats"...mattress, how often do you use one? So with this kinda thinking I feel at peace. Now Mama...doesn't see my thinking.

Just got a late wedding gift from the in-laws... 42" 1080 LCD Vizio... Very happy this evening! :D
