Is Bryan Station open? I saw it reported on another board. What would cause Coach Turner to leave after just 1 year?

What was Station's record? what was it last year and year before?

Any one have any insight on what happened down at Station? Did kids quit? Not happy with the coach?

Health reasons is the correct answer.

Turner took over a program on the rise, promptly destroyed it and resigned after 1 year leaving the program far worse than when he found it, good riddence.

Coach Turner stepped down for health reasons that have caused issues all season.

There is a boat load of talent at BS. The coach that was there before was able to harness it and be sucessful. The administration at BS should take this hire serious and look at someone who will work with the kids. Coach Turner has been successful, is there more to it than just health problems?

I don't think there is. I think he truely resigned for health problems. However, like someone stated above he probably should have been fired after that awful season. He's one 1 game his last two years as a head coach at two talent rich schools. That doesn't look good going forward I wouldn't think...
