Well not from Fairview, but we played them so here is my analysis from what I saw. They have a pretty physical line, but if your DT's saty at home they have trouble getting the guards out. They run the full back trap very well and 44 is a bowling ball down hill runner, if you hit him high he will carry your for a ride. When they line up with #2 at QB in their version of the wild cat, he has nice vision and patience and is a home run threat. They only threw the ball once against us and we picked it. Watching the QB in warm ups though he seems to have a pretty good arm. Defensively Fairview sat in man coverage all night with no free safety. This made them vulnerable to our posts and slants. #16 is a very good corner in coverage but does not tackle real well. I think they will struggle with discipline and in watching LCA's offense they will have to be very very disciplined. I did think Fairview would be much faster and would rate their team speed as average to slightly above average. I do think #2 and #44 are the key to the game and if LCA shuts them down it could be a long night. Like I said, not from Fairview but hope this helps. One other thing, Fairview needs to watch out for getting too hyped, an earlier poster said something about them being very focused. If they come out tight and overly geeked it could cost them in penalties quickly.

Thank you for the scouting report cnc :thumb:. Should Fairview plays as undiciplined in this one as some said they have in their first two playoff games then that imo play directly into LCA's hand.

LCA plays focused, they can and will hurt you by ground or a passing attack. I also believe they will have a few "wrinkles" to throw in as well (a little Blue Eagle told me. LCA's special teams will also have something to say imo. LCA's new kicker can kick from or out of another zip code. LCA is not as strong as their State Championship team but they are definately peaking at the right time and are hungry for another Class A title before going to 2A.
