December 1, 201015 yr He really just needs to mature. Let's not forget that he's just 20 though even with him being in the NBA he's still just a kid and people react differently, shoot you can go anywhere and see that. Give it a season or two and if things haven't changed then we can label him but give him some time to adjust.:thumb: :thumb: I love the people determining his future less than 20% of the way into his FIRST season.
December 1, 201015 yr Cousins bickering with his coach huh? You would never hear about the top stars in the league like Lebron James doing something like this!!!! This is an outrage and he should be cut immediatley.
December 1, 201015 yr Big Blue has more than "some." I'm a fan of the Cats, but I mean, our village idiots are also our mouthpieces. If you listen to the pregame show, you are left wondering how some of those people were able to dial the phone to call in. They have quite a few good calls on the show. We just tend to notice the crazies more when they get on the air. If you listen to an hour, you remember the nutjob, not the normal callers.
December 1, 201015 yr Just had lunch with a scout for the Orlando Magic who happens to be friend of mine and we were talking about Cousins and his response was: "this is such a nonstory". He told me things like this happen frequently and that he just needs to mature. His point was when you draft a 19 year old kid, don't expect a professional to walk through the door day 1.
December 1, 201015 yr Chad Ford doesn't seem too concerned: Alex (Houston) Do you see the Kings consider moving Cousins if his issues continue with Westphal? Chad Ford (1:47 PM) I doubt it. They knew what they were getting when they drafted him. He's immature. He doesn't always have the best attitude. He's struggling with the fact that his coach is trying to coach him. But he's just 20 years old. He still has time to mature. And given his immense talents, that should happen. The Kings just need to keep pushing him until he grows up.
December 1, 201015 yr Chad Ford doesn't seem too concerned: Ford summed it up really well in that the Kings knew what they were getting in to when they drafted Cousins. I just hope he makes the turn towards maturity sooner rather than later.
December 1, 201015 yr What's ironic is that Lebron is doing the same thing, but that only put his coach on the hot seat. I saw where Cousins seemed apologetic...on twitter.

Who is exactly to blame here?
