Bardstown has some big play potential but Green is the far better team. Green should win easily.

Green County wins Big!! Then the rematch with the Danville Admirals. Danville has played 3 really really good teams in Boyle County, Somerset, and Mason County to get us ready for this playoff run, I know Green has a really good running back, and we must stop him, last year he made Danville look silly, this year I dont see that happening, if you gonna beat Danville you better throw the football!!

Green is not as much one dimensional as usual. They actually do throw the ball, and they do it pretty well when they need to. I guess they have success because of a very dicsiplined OL.

I think Green wins this one, and it isn't close.

IMO, they won't get back to the region final, They put a whoopin on Danville last year. I don't think GC can dominate DHS that way this year, two entirely different teams from last year. And tsyoung you didn't think Danville could beat Bardstown the way they did. My point GC has to come through Danville on the way to the regional final and it won't be easy this year.:popcorn:

The Ads have some great athletes, probably more than the Briar Jumpers. However, they just didn't seem to respond well when their athleticism was matched and they aren't that physical. Almost everytime an Admiral ballcarrier got hit hard they put it on the ground and when Somerset went up 3 scores in the 3rd quarter Danville laid down. From that point on they seemed to only want to draw personal foul penalties and try to fight. Danville has got some great athletes and a hall of fame coach but I think they are still a year away from being mature enough to make a run at state.

 

Green County has some athletes and they will hit Danville hard and I think they'll win. Although, honestly I'm for the Ads--I hope they prove me wrong. I'd like to see them win 2A this season.

Do you think Green Co. is as good as Somerset? I think Danville underestimated Somerset, Why they did, I don't Know. But Danville is way better right now than they were this time last year.

There is noone doubting that Danville is a much better team than last year; however, this Green County team is pretty darn good itself. Last season, the Ads struggled with stopping #11. Now #11 is at QB and there are two other backs besides him that can hold their own; #2 and #22. First things first, the Dragons will not overlook Bardstown first. They take one game at a time and if the game develops, then the Dragons will make the trip to Danville just like they did two years ago. Assuming that both teams take care of buisness the first round, it's ironic that these two teams will meet in the second round for the third straight year. Good Luck to Both !!!

Good luck to Green Co. from a Monroe Co. fan. Think our district is one of the toughest districts in 2A. This Falcon fan will be pulling for all teams in our district. Know Danville is much improved over last season but think that Glasgow, Green Co., or Monroe Co. will win region.
