Brossart is the "home" team, but the game is on Scott's new field. I believe Holy Cross will be playing on Scott's field two weeks in row, playing their first playoff game there next week as the home team. By the way, Kyle Fuller would be a very capable backup QB if called upon. Normally, a starting WR, he is very elusive in the open field when running.

Best of luck to both teams, and most of all--No injuries!! Don't like this scheduling for either team, especially Brossart as nothing to be gained for either, and a key injury could be damaging in the postseason?? Play this early in the season---Just my opinion.

Last year you have to worry about this game meaning nothing!

For the people saying you should sit out some of your starters, are you kidding me?

 

Brossart plays Frankfort next week where they will be a definite underdog,if you were a senior at Brossart would you want to miss out on quite possibly your second last football game EVER. HC will face far better odds against Carroll County, but i doubt any of their seniors want to sit this one out because it doesn't have playoff implications.

They aren't sitting out because it doesn't mean anything. There are three retreat weeks ends offered at HC this year. This week, two weeks from now obviously second week of playoffs which they hope to be in and districts for basketball. For multisport athletes this was the best week to pick.
