Boyle wins 48-24
I doubt Lex Cath scores at all, I saw a replay of them on Wazzoo and they are not impressive at all. They are nothing like the Lex Cath teams I have seen in the past. I have seen Boyle Co. play twice, if they are playing well Lex Cath will have less than 100 yards offense and Boyle will probably score in the 40's. Boyle's defense is playing really well at this point and Lex Cath didn't show me enough offense that they will be able to move the ball.:walk:

Yall have to realize this Lex Cath team is literally the youngest team that they have ever had.. They are starting to put the pieces together though and are looking tough. Being apart of the 2004-2007 teams i have seen some of the great Lexcath teams kick the Word Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter Violation out of Boyle. These past couple of years Mcshara has been maybe the most consistent player in the state and is the reason Boyle co was Boyle co. I think that Dawson is a genetic freak that is way overhyped and wont pan out at the college level. Saying that i feel like it will still be tough for Lexcath to pull this one out but i feel as if Boyle will have a hard time putting up points against a lexcath defense that is really starting to understand the 3-5 defense. With lexcath its all about getting on the board early and wrapping up on defense and not letting Boyle get the big play..look for special teams to be a big factor and if Boyle pulls that trick play Word Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter Violation out of their pocket it could be a long night for the knights. Good game, 25-19 Lexcath on top.

Wow. One of the most baseless posts ever to grace the halls of BGP. Dawson is an outstanding student/athlete in every sense of the word; a very personable 4.0 gpa student with the physical ability to play at any division 1 school in the country. But hey, maybe Florida, USC, Oregon, Notre Dame, etc. etc are wrong. In fact, maybe you are right. Heck, you played high school football afterall.......................

Alright, same as Micah Johnson...sure he looks good in a uniform and made an NFL roster but he will never be any better than a practice squad/ special teams player... he was extremely overhyped and was HORRIBLE AT KENTUCKY which is why they cant ever get past the music city bowl. These college coaches will be disappointed when Dawsons career is over with and he will live in titletown living on memories probably without a college degree

Other than the 2007 team, which teams are you talking about? 04 team beat Boyle by 1 point, The 05 and 06 team didn't even play Boyle. So what teams are you speaking of?

For as of your Dawson reply, that tells me all I need to know.

The same 04 boyle team that had won 62 straight games...and that game was alot closer than the scoreboard indicates. 05/06 would have absolutely dismantled boyle if they did play, and 07 beat boyle quit soundly..boyle has had the number for the past few years no doubt. but mcshara mcshara mcshara..for your sake i hope im wrong about dawson but im not a fan on his junk, im a realist and we will all see the true dawson here within the next couple of years.

You must have been in the band all those years.

You've done lost me knight? 62 straight games? The 04 final score was 43-42 how can that be any closer? Again 05 and 06 didn't play Boyle so how did kick their butt? 07 the first game was 18-14 thats not soundly, the playoff game was by a bigger margin, but you said teams. Other than the 07 team, who kick Boyle's butt?

For as of tonights game, the Knights are standing on the track and the Dawson express is coming through. Choooo Choooo!

You must have been in the band all those years.

I'm not sure Lab, but I think knight52 thinks Lexington Catholic beat Boyle to end their 62 game win streak? Or that's how I'm reading it, but the band would explain it. :idunno:

i meant to say the game wasnt as close as the score indicated in 04, and 05 catholic team wasnt gonna get beat by anybody in the state..minus a bullWord Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter Violation field goal loss to st x... and whether it was 18-14 or not isnt really of any relevance u know very well if u can go into boyle county and get a win it doesnt matter the score...it is a sound victory in my book.

Dawson Express thats cute..

i meant to say the game wasnt as close as the score indicated in 04, Dawson Express thats cute..

I was at the 2004 game and in the 3rd. Quarter Boyle was up on Lex Cath 35-14. Boyle missed a 35 yard fieldgoal in the final seconds to lose by 1 point. You telling me that Lexington Catholic beat Boyle that night worse that the final score was? Are you serious?

This kid has had too much to drink. He clearly knows nothing about football and his facts are pretty much all wrong.

I also like that everyone keeps talking about MacShara. Boyle County is one of the top rushing teams in the state WITHOUT MacShara. I love the doubters.

As for Dawson. The kid has a world of potential. Remember, he will be 17 when he is in college and for a few games during the season before he turns 18. He is still very young. He is suppose to be a junior in high school. I'd much rather hear the opinions of the colleges recruiting him, than knights52.

I'll be surprised if LC can stay close to BC. Sounds like next year could be a much better one for LC. Good luck to both teams!
