UKBLUE1964
Reported on jj's he wanted to spend more time with his family. This is one of two jobs listed so far that I thnk any coach would be lucky to get. No doubt, and I agree about scheduling some of the top D-IV teams or even a D-1 team would IMO get them over the hump that they need. They are great throughout the season but stumble in the playoffs. I never understood why the keep playing West Jeff, I know they are in same county but London doesn't play WJ anymore, that would be a opportunity to play a high profile team. West Jefferson will be solid in the next couple of years. I have one of their games on film and they have a lot of young studs. If they are going to continue to play W/j ,then they need to make sure the other two games are against Bellaire type teams(d-4)
newarkcatholicfan
Their coach of 35 years has decided to retire, so a new coach will be needed. This team has been in the playoff several times and after a few down years last season was a very good one. 23227 COSHOCTON RD P.O. BOX 128 HOWARD, 43028-0128 23227 COSHOCTON RD P.O. They are located near Mt. Vernon. They, with their past coach have been a running team as long as I can remember.
leatherneck
Good morning NCF. Nothing beats the quiet of the morning, a cup of coffee and reading the Preps. Have a good day. LN
LRCW
I know that I've heard this for several years, but from everyone I've talked to this may really be Coach Bob Lutz's last year at Ironton. Maybe kantucky can tell us if this is true or not.

Maybe he should give his speech and tell his team Saturday Night ala' John Wooden, because this very well could be his last game.

They do have a really hard game this week. I have watched Bellaire a few times this year. They are strong.
newarkcatholicfan
I just read where there coach has retired. Their coach had a great record in his time at the school(334-95-4)18 conference championships, 16 playoff appearances(43-10 record), 13 Regional Titles, 3 State Runners Up and 6 State Championships. This now becomes the number one job in Ohio as far as the schools who have openings. DARKE County 459 S CENTER ST VERSAILLES, 45380-1105 Principal MR. I believe it was an freshman or 8th grade game.

He said Archie's son was unreal, he said he looks he could play for any high school right now.
newarkcatholicfan
Fremont St. Joe Located in my favorite part of the state. A very small school that plays a solid schedule. They play in the Midland League. 2005 W 3 L 7 2004 W 3 L 7 2003 W 5 L 5 2002 W 3 L 7 2001 W 2 L 8 2000 W 4 L 6 This is a major rebuilding job. My thoughts a coach must be willing to stay, and demand that he is in complete control of the program from the 7th grade level to the varsity. I think each team should be schedule a full schedule. A lot of times this doesn't happen and the results are a lot like the ones you see for this school. SANDUSKY County 702 CROGHAN ST FREMONT, 43420-2417 Principal MR. A solid small school league that has one school(Marion Pleasant)that is a yearly playoff team. My thoughts is this school should compete for second place at least on a regular bases. I think with the right type of coach they could compete with Pleasant.
