Tavion Parrish looked very, very good Friday night and the defense made plays when they had to. If Glasgow plays that solid, they will be a tough out for anyone.

I noticed that his stats for the game were very impressive. I am not sure that Green's defense will be able to control him. After seeing green play campbellsville thursday night the offensive line will not be able to handle glasgows speed and size.

District action opens up this week in Class 2A, District 3 with a very interesting matchup between Glasgow and Green County. Who wins this game and why?

Since these two were put into same district in 2007, Dragons have defeated Glasgow 3 straight years. (2007) 34-7, (2008) 44-14, and (2009) 34-14. However, Glasgow leads the overall series.

Hasn't Green lost a lot off their line? If they're not strong up front, it's going to be a long night for the Dragons. Glasgow is tough.

Green County had to replace ONE starting offensive lineman from last years team. The past two seasons, Green County has been able to keep Tavion Parrish in check. The past three years the Dragons have outscored Glasgow 112-35. Rick Wood was the Scotties coach last season when the Dragons defeated the Scotties 34-14. This team loves all the disrespect they get from all the polsters. Keep counting these guys out and they just may slip up and win the district.

I think you're reading too much into my post. I had been told that Green Co. was hit hard by graduation, especially on their line. Guess I was misinformed.

 

Now, I didn't see Parrish last year, but I've been told he's grown a few inches and added some bulk since last year, so you guys might be seeing a different kid than the one you kept in check in recent years.

No Harm, No Foul. No doubt Parrish is a good player. Both teams will have their hands full because of the talent on these teams. Glasgow is athletic, big, and fast. Green Co. is fast and very hard-nosed. The past three years, what has separated these two teams has been the physicality of the Dragon squad. This is the first district game and I personally think the winner of this game will win this district. This could be the type of ballgame that the team with the least turnovers WINS.

I think this is the year Glasgow turns this series around. Glasgow by a TD.

I really think you are overlooking the #2 team in 2a...The Falcons! I think the winner of this game is runner up in the district!!! I have a feeling most everyone but you thinks this!!!
