Tigers travel over to Covington Friday night to take on the Dawgs.

Bellevue coming off a 35-34 come from behind win over Newport.

Holmes comes off a 46-0 win over Lloyd.

Thoughts?

I'd like to see a good game, unfortunately it may get ugly. Bulldogs big.

I think the Tigers will try to control the line of scrimmage and keep the ball out of the explosive Holmes offense. Power right and Power left with some Buck mixed in is what the Tigers need. If they let Peterson on the field it could be a long night.

I have not seen the Tigers play but I have seen Holmes. Bellevue needs to keep the Holmes offense off the field because they have a bunch of weapons including #23 who is just a freshman but can go the distance at any moment. The only downside I saw from Holmes is missed extra points.

Holmes-42

Bellevue-10

Holmes definitely has some athletes who can break it off for long gains. Coach Sherrer at Bellevue I am sure is going to go back to the old school Tiger style of football and control the ball offensively with a lot of runs.

Bulldogs pretty easily...........

Having seen Bellevue this past week, I have a feeling they're in for a long night.

They struggled big time against Newport's athleticism on offense. No disrespect to the Cats, but Holmes is on a whole nother level.

I do think Bellevue will have success running the ball, but in the end the outside runs they had against Newport simply won't be there against Holmes because of the Dogs closing speed and better LB corps.

I'll go with the following.

Holmes 35

Bellevue 13

Look for Holmes to throw it up to Peterson over the smaller Bellevue DB's and the soph wideout to have a big night.

Holmes big, Bellevue will struggle offensivelly Holmes D can stop the run and have a really good d- line and the LB'ers are pretty good. Holmes offense can only stop themselves and i dont see it happening they have alot of veterans.

Holmes 42

Bellevue 6

Tigers need to control the ball and minimize the amount of pass attempts they take. Don't let Holmes speed beat you. You have a tall task but don't let anyone tell you what your expectations should be. Good luck boys.

Holmes takes this one.
