I have no affinity for Maddow (never watched her, not going to watch this clip) but as someone that spends her day talking in front of people, I can tell you that you are going to make silly errors or say the wrong word. Luckily, none of mine are recorded and broadcast. Is this really a big deal?

You're forgetting one BIG point here, TB&G. She was the one making a big deal out of Christie making the mistake, then she made the exact same mistake. So in this case, yes, it's a big deal.

I understand the way you're taking it, but I have to disagree. I really think she screwed up, hence the retake.

The only reason I "care" is because she was trying to make Christie look foolish and as it turned out, the joke was on her. :lol:

They wouldn't have enough time for the show if they remade every take where she came off remarkably smug. They never worried about it before, why now?
