How would you OBJECTIVELY calculate a good team???

Winning record? Isn't that dependent on who they played, who may be terrible?

What if they have a winning record early in the season, but not at the end?

What if a team loses by 1, and another by 10, and another by 21 to the same team?

What if a team is only losing by 6, trying to make a comeback, and throws an INT for a TD and loses by 13? Would that change the points?

There is no objective way to do this; as the system stands now, it is completely objective based on the sizes of the schools. That is why nothing gets done.

Glen Este got points for beating Ryle. Lebanon got points for beating Campbell Co., and Colerain got nothing for losing to St. X.

How can you award points in an Ohio system for beating a KY team, and those points are determined by how many other KY teams that team beats? So beating Ryle and Campbell Co. which are D 1 schools in Ohio gets you more points than beating a 4-6 Elder.

So yes you calculate a "good" team the same way you objectively calculate teams now. Losing to a 10-0 team would get you more points than losing to a 5-5 team. The same way beating a 9-1 team gets you more points than beating a 1-9 team.
