2010 Baseball All-Star Game

Featured Replies

I figured there would already be a thread on this with all the Reds players on the roster this year. So who have you got? The American League lineup is just stacked again with Cano and Crawford hitting 8th and 9th. The AL has not lost this game since the first Clinton Administration and has won 20 of the last 25. I think that continues tonight. AL 6-2 with Jeter as MVP.

Classy move by Jeter to use Bob Sheppard's voice for his intro. They said that he'll use that the rest of his career.

I think he's been using it for a while now.

I didn't know that. Very nice tribute.

His entire career.

I wish Bruce would have panned out as quickly as Longoria has. If I remember correctly they were the top 2 offensive prospects at one point a couple years ago.

It said Jeter requested the recording after Sheppard missed the opening homestand of the 2006 season. Pretty neat story--as a Sox fan I missed that somehow.

Great catch by Braun, he's lucky not to have broken his wrist on that one.

Should have sent him on home right there, but what do I know.
