Anybody still want to include Wood in a trade?

Would you still trade Travis Wood if you could get Cliff Lee or Dan Haren? 19 members have voted

    • Yes, it was just one start, and Haren and Lee are both proven.

    • No, Wood is going to be a lefty stud the Reds can control for several years.

And there is no way that I trade a 23 year old lefty with Wood's stuff, that the Reds control for the next several years at a much lesser price for either one of them.

I would give up Alonso for Haren all day long but I'm not sure if they really need him. They need relievers. Rhodes is going to pitch to his baseball card the 2nd half of the year which means he is looking at around a 3.00 -3.50 ERA for the second half. He has to be wore out. Look at their potential starting pitchers for the 2nd half..it is ridiculous

You covered all of them. So name your top 5 out of that group and what do you do with the rest?

I will trade Dusty and Coco for Jim Tracy and I will throw in a pile of wood to sweeten the deal.

I like the sound of that or go after Mike Scocsia. Maybe throw in a sleeve of PROV1s.
