Unofficial BGP NBA free agent predictor game (through ESPN)

Interesting. Complete guesses from me for the most part. I have no idea where David Lee and Carlos Boozer are going.

Anyone have David Lee going to Phoenix? I think that is under played.

I don't follow the NBA half as much as you guys, so I was totally guessing. I am looking forward to seeing how it plays out though.

Yep. And once again it's all Shaq's fault. I say he goes back to LA.

Really? I could not decide on him so I left the Shaqtus as a free agent.

I did. It was a guess, but it made sense to me assuming Amare leaves. I also considered Utah.

I just see them as the team that could use him the most. Of the teams with cap space I don't think most of them need a PF or if they do they will go after Bosh, Amare, Boozer first. Lee and Phoenix are a match made heaven.

Yeah. I didn't see that as an option. I don't think he'll be on a team by Sept. 1 though so I need to change my answer on that one but yeah, I think he retires a Laker.

I could see Lee going to the Thunder.

I had thought that but he really doesn't meet a need for them IMO. They might get him, but he's another undersized big. I think they'd be better off trying to continue to make moves on younger guys until they can find a true big that can guard the likes of Gasol, Bynum, Howard, Bosh, or whoever they will have to go through to win a championship. Are Durant, Westbrook, and David Lee a good enough nucleus to be a consistent championship team or contender in the future? They might take him, but I don't think they should.

Since I wasn't able to sign up for this yet, here's my predictions:

LeBron James - Cleveland Caviliers

Dwayne Wade - Miami Heat

Chris Bosh - Cleveland Caviliers (sign & trade)

Joe Johnson - New York Knicks

Carlos Boozer - Miami Heat

David Lee - New Jersey Nets

Amare Stoudamire - New York Knicks

Shaquille O'Neal - FA

Rudy Gay - LA Clippers

Paul Pierce - New Jersey Nets

Dirk Nowitzki - Dallas Mavericks

If you're right I'll be thrilled.
