June 25, 201016 yr Did you just compare Frankengody to Perkins? Talk about apples and anchovies... Not comparing them at all. I just said that it wouldn't be like they would be any worse off offensively when he goes into the game. Defensively their is no comparison at all, but KP is possibly the worst starting post player in the league when it comes to offense. Basically I don't think it was an awful unforgivable pick like I'm guessing you do. Where is the downside in taking him there? He was an ultra-productive player in college, and you get him late in the draft. No guaranteed contract and he seems to be a solid guy off the court. You act like it's the Knicks taking Renaldo Balkman at 20 or something. :idunno:

June 25, 201016 yr Somewhat to their defense that was one of the worst draft classes of all time. Exactly. What player could they have taken that would have been that much better?
June 25, 201016 yr Exactly. What player could they have taken that would have been that much better? Don't get me wrong it was still a horrible horrible pick.

He'll hang around for a long time, bank a lot of cash for doing very little and keep the end of the bench warm. Anything in there you really want to dispute???

At no point in time did I say Harangody was better than or equal to Perkins.
June 25, 201016 yr Don't get me wrong it was still a horrible horrible pick. Like I said, who was better that they could have took? Dude was a double-double guy in college, why not take a chance late in the draft and see if he can add some value off the bench? That's about all you can ask for in the 50s.

June 25, 201016 yr Gody is a hustle guy and couldn't be any worse offensively in the NBA than Kendrick Perkins. Not at all. There was just no need to try to find something that wasn't there. At no point in time did I say Harangody was better than or equal to Perkins. You seem to miss the complete irony in your original post. Gody's entire game is offense. He couldn't stop ColonelCrazy from scoring on the block. That's why I laughed at even mentioning Perkins. One is an offense only undersized big that will not be able to score in the NBA. The other is one of the best post defenders in the game that brings nothing on the offensive end. I made fun of what was there because it was there...
June 25, 201016 yr Balkman. Okay let's compare a guy that got overdrafted in the 20s to a guy that a team took late in the 2nd round. And let's not even compare their productivity in college.
