IMO, that line-up finishes them fourth at best in the East, depending on how everything else shapes up. I guess by default that makes them a title contender.

For surely he meant to say "at worst" the Bulls would be fourth best in the East.

I'd still take the Magic, Cleveland, Boston, and who knows what moves Miami will make.

 

It's pretty tough to predict any champs with all the moves that are going to be made.

A LeBron-less Cleveland team will be the front-runners for the #1 pick in next years draft. No way they finish top 10 in the East.

Deng for Bosh would leave them with some money to spend, but I don't know if it would be more than they could have given him with the MLE. It probably is but I don't know exactly what the Bulls are looking like as a cap figure right now.

 

But I would love for that lineup you mentioned to happen. If LBJ couldn't win a title with that team I'd have to quit watching the NBA.:thumb:

I don't think so. They would be receiving less then they are sending out money wise and Chicago is about as far under the salary cap as you can get so they can take on his salary. I believe they would get Deng and Gibson though.
