I would like to know too. We will close this thread and start a new one on the new coach. Any info would be appreciated.

Coached at Bracken County in 08-09 and went 9-20. He wasn't kept by the school and was an assistant down in Central Kentucky. If he was hired, then congrats to Coach Breeze.

I don't know that the school has made it official but I heard this info from someone that would know.

Not exactly a great record. Why did Bracken fire him after only one season? Was it because of the poor record?

I think it had more to do with politics and timing rather than his ability to coach.

They itnenedted to hire PErsinger the year before but something stood in the way. There is nothing Deron could have done to make his tenure at Bracken any longer.

I'd say 9-20 didn't help his case.

I know who interviewed, all of them but have heard no name yet. I know who ain't going based on who they talked with. At least 4 of the 8, I can rule out for sure. I have not heard that Breeze was the guy, but I ain't saying you are wrong. Does he teach PE?
