2010 Kentucky Girls All-Star Team

Featured Replies

I attended each of the tryouts. Bramblett not making the team is a joke! A Division I player with a very versatile skill set and loses out to kids who couldn't guard her in a phone booth.

Can't say I will be sitting in the stands at any more of these "all star" games.

You missed two great games! Kentucky played great team ball against all Indiana's D1 players!

So, you are implying that Bramblett was left off because she is a selfish player or a player with a bad attitude? Ask anyone who has ever been around her, coached her or played against her.

His comments mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about that player.

In three years of watching Bramblett play, I never left the gym thinking she was selfish or anything but a great team player. I can't imagine she couldn't have helped Ky. pull a sweep.

Well you wondered wrong on this one! Ky. went 1 and 1 with Indiana! This group of girls played very well together and never gave up! Indiana had practically all D1 players and Kentucky had a select few! Sometimes its not just true talent that wins games, its team work!

If the right combinations were there you would have won both. :thumb:

Congratulations to Coach Adams and staff, and especially to the girls who represented the Bluegrass with pride. Winning in Indy is not an easy accomplishment. Congrats to the selection committee, too. Well done!

Actually got to go to both games. What a great place to play!Conseco was awesome place to hold this game.Way to go Kentucky girls and coaching staff..That is not an easy thing beating Indiana there.Thought you all showed alot of Pride in your team and state the way you bounced back from the game at home and never gave up down 6 with 1:42 left took lots of guts.Thought Coach Adams and staff made some nice adjustments before and during the game to help pull this off.Winning your last game is always a nice way to go out, not many get to say that.Good luck to all the all-stars in college and Coach Adams in retirement.
