First no hitter of the year, and first in Rockies franchise history.

Very impressive. He was still hitting 97 on the gun in the 9th inning at 120 pitches. I imagine he'll never throw from the windup again.

One of the more underrated pitchers in baseball IMO.

What 3 major league teams still do not have a no hitter in their history?

Congrats to him although it kills me that it came against the Braves.

I know the Braves are one of the teams without a no-hitter nit sure of the other two. I would guess the Royals and the Nationals although I wanna say the Marlins.

I could swear I heard them say during the Mets-Cards game that San Diego and Tampa Bay are the only ones left.

There is still one more besides the Padres and Rays.

That's right. I still remember hearing some Mets fans say that the Reds stole their no-hitter when Seaver came over and tossed one. Apparently he had three of them broken up in the 9th inning while in Flushing.

Kent Mercker threw one for the Braves in '94. They had a few during the Milwaukee era.

The Expos had three different pitchers toss no-nos, which counts for Washington's purposes. Saberhagen got the most recent Royals one in '91.

I guess what I actually heard was that there were two other teams -- in addition to the Mets -- who were without.

Of the current teams that have thrown a no-hitter, which NL team has gone the longest since their last no-hitter? The AL team that has gone the longest?
