April 13, 201016 yr Interesting you say I am always wrong. When most of my arguments are based on opinion, and pretty sure you can't be wrong on an opinion. It doesn't matter if everyone else on here has the opposite opinion, it still doesn't make anyone more right than the other because its still just an opinion. However it is nice to have a little personal attack from a moderator, I like it..:sssh: If you disagree with me thats fine. You care to explain why I am monumentally wrong though? Bengals had to deal with a ton of key injuries last year too before the season started and during the season, and yet they were still good enough to beat the Steelers twice. The Bengals should be even better next year than they were. While the Steelers just got rid of one of their best offensive weapons, and still have many questions along that offensive line, and corner. Then throw in the fact that the Ravens, added something they been missing forever in a #1 receiver, and I could definitely see them in front of the Steelers too. I very well could be wrong, and the Steelers could win the division. However to act like as long as the Steelers are healthy on defense, that they will definitely win the division is monumentally wrong IMO. Just because I'm a moderator doesn't mean that I don't read your rambling verbose diatribes about your opinion. I'm stating fact, I don't often agree with them. This one is no different, plain and simple. I think with the Steeler defense healthy they win 4 more games last season. Secondary without Troy is average at very best. Troy is a difference maker. And the run defense and pass rush are incredibly dependent upon Aaron Smith. Steelers offense has been more than able to put enough points up to win, defense and special teams were the sore spots last year. Worst in recent memory and still they finished 9-7. I give the Bengal folks here 6 weeks tops before they're ready for UK basketball to take over.

April 13, 201016 yr Not scary at all. Just better than yours. :lol: Spindoc is on a roll tonight!!!! Lets see the Bengals swept the Steelers last year lost no one and added a pretty good WR target. The Steelers have had all kinds of off the field issues and lost their best WR. Makes sense why you think they are better than the Bengals.:idunno:

Look Kobe, if you would pay attention to what I said, I'm not comparing defenses from last season. Steelers played without their 2 most important pieces. I'm gonna stop here and I'll just let the cards play out. I feel confident that if the Steeler defense is healthy, we'll be back to revisit why Marvin is an idiot, why Mike Brown is a bigger idiot, why Carson Palmer should be traded or cut, why Chad is past his prime, yada, yada.

The Bengals played without their best DE, a starting S, and had other key players (Rivers, Rey Rey, etc.) miss some games as well. While I think when both are healthy, the Steelers D is slightly better, I think the gap is ever so slight.
