Braves win 16-5

1-0 on the season.

Heyward is a great talent, and he may become as good or better than Pujols, but please not already! He has 5 plate appearances. When he hits 30+ HR's, bats over .300, and drives in 100+ RBI's say for the first 4 years of his career then maybe we start that comparison. Pujols has done that 9 years in a row now. Just not fair to compare him to Pujols yet.

I will agree that he is a stud. I hope he does turn out to be that good and for 4 or 5 years we will have great MVP races in the NL, baring Pujols stays in STL. Just not ready for that comparison yet...

Great way to start the season!

Great to see the Cubs start this way. Love when Big Z gets roughed up.

The comparison was of Pujols at age 20, not right now...

Oh, okay:ohbrother:. Sorry I jumped the gun I just have already read that comparison on some other boards. At 21 Pujols hit .329, had 37 HR's, and drove in 130 batters. If Heyward has that year the Braves will get the Wild Card IMO.

If he really was 21 then ...

After having a really good spring Troy Glaus has had a very poor first two games for the Braves. 4 strikeouts tonight.
