GatorFan Posted March 4, 2010 Author Posted March 4, 2010 Gallatin almost blows 18 point lead at the end of the 3rd quarter!
marvel Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Kudos to both teams for making it thus far!!!! Good luck to GC
old guys rule Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 When Trame makes it less about him and more about the good of the team he may get back to the big dance one day. Nice job Wildcats and to you Bearcats nice season .

Nice job Wildcats and to you Bearcats nice season . What do you mean? Trame is a very good coach and has taken this team farther than most expected. Who would have thought they would have won 20 games before the season started? To win the All A 8th Region and make it to the regional tournament is impressive. He runs his program his way and some parents just haven't been able to accept this. IMO, he got the most out of what he had. Congrats to the Bearcats on a fine season and best of luck to Gallatin.
fatsnbul Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I totally agree. Coach Trame is a great motivator and great with the kids. My sons would travel over an hour each way to attend his summer camp.
marvel Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 77 points is kind of high for a regional tournament game....I thought Trame was a defensive man... They should of won 20 games. They have 4 seniors and a junior who were the main players last year....not taking anything away from Coach Trame but personally I do not believe he got the most out of each player.
Mack The Knife Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 GC Morgan 19 Davis 16 B. Carlton 13 Jones 11 Williamson 7 Brown 5 J. Carlton 3 Dossett 3

Just because you have 4 seniors and a junior doesn't mean you are going to win games. Trame doesn't play defense, the boys do. He can teach then but if they do not execute, it's not his fault. It is what it is. Gallatin loves to score and play up-tempo so I give them the credit. Their offense beat Walton's defense. Additionally, Walton had numerous turnovers tonight that lead to their defeat. They couldn't take care of the ball when they had it and Gallatin made the most of it.

It does not mean you're going to win games....but it does mean you should, especially since the talent these players had. If Trame is the coach and it is the Coach's role to get his team to play areas of the game such as defense and they don't this late in the season, well to me that is a fault on both parties not just the players. I know WV is capable of holding GC under 60..they've done it before. Congrats to both teams for making it this far....
GatorFan Posted March 4, 2010 Author Posted March 4, 2010 Why is it you all always blame the coach? Just a question. I don't mean anything else by it. Just like the girls program two years ago. Anyway, GOOD JOB GALLATIN!

Anyway, GOOD JOB GALLATIN! WOW! Do you believe this? I agree with you GatorFan. Walton had a good year and they should feel good. The better team won tonight and good luck to Gallatin County on their quest to the 8th Region crown.
