you and every fan of every team...

Marshall isn't a free agent is he?

A lot of teams will be interested in Sproles and Sharper, and if Marshall is on the block I'm sure some will be interested in him as well.

Peppers and Dansby are some other big names.

Apparently Brandon Marshall is a restricted free agent, and the Broncos have apparently given him a 1st round tender.

That means teams give up their 1st to get him. I think that is it.

I'd do it in a heartbeat if I'm the Bengals.

But Denver could still match what Cincy offers and I think they would.

The Bengals made the playoffs.

Why do that when you know he's gone the following year, and you have a chance at adding a first rounder?

Why do you think they will? I don't think their coach wants him back. So by doing this, they assure themselves of getting a first round pick, if someone tries to sign him. If someone offers him a long term deal, I doubt they match it.

No if cincy gives him a 5 year deal and he agrees to it and signs it. Denver gets a chance to to say yes or no. If the take it, they would get him for the same deal that cincy offered, so he wouldn't be free the next year.
