Final from the 62nd. East v. Elliott final.

Knipp had 45

West was up 12 in the 4th

What a heartbreaker for West. Give credit to EC, they fought back and took the game. Timmy Knipp has to be the best player in the region IMO.

West let Elliott score 14 straight in 2 1/2 min to start the 4th with 9 turnovers in that short span.

If not mistaken at one time in the fourth quarter Knipp had 5 consecutive steals .

Looks like those that predicted a close one were on target. Congratulations to Elliott County on advancing.

That says a lot for Elliott because other than Knipp they had really no post season experience.

WOW! Really a gutsy performance by the Lions and Timmy Knipp. Maybe this will put the critics to rest a little of Knipp for a while, and maybe a turning point for the Lions as a contender. Makes the 16th Region tournament a little that much better; can't wait. How many shots did Timmy take; my guess is that it was a pretty impressive shooting performance by Knipp. Go Lions! :dancingpa

The whole team gave their all, just the will of the whole team along with Timmy leading the ship! Take for example a kid like Nick Lewis, comes in plays his role perfect then is standing at the line with some big free throws and knocks one of them down to get the lead up to four. Every member of that team Elliott team laid everything they had out last night to get to that regional tourney and it was well worth the seven dollars I had to pay to see it! Also, good to see Ferg, Big John, Chris Knipp and Flannery at the game last night.

One thing about Knipps stats from last night noticed he only took 6 - 3 pointers he was more aggressive at taking the ball to the basket he looked really good last night.

Way to TCB, Lions!
