I agree, they need 2 more wins, and they should get them, but it's still a long way from a sure thing.
February 19, 201016 yr After looking at their schedule I feel they should win there next 2. Problem with that is ending the season @UConn, @Marquette, & home against Syracuse. I could see them beating DePaul and G'town, then losing the final 3. That would put them at (19-12, 10-8), and IMO very nervous come selection sunday without a conference tournament win. That loss to Western Carolina could come back to haunt them, but I think they should be okay.

JMO The selection committee might see it differently.

Considering Vanardo's foul problems, the Cats basically beat an MSU team playing without 2 of its 3 best players. Sometimes these undermanned opponents can get up for a short period (one or two games) and play really well. Both UK and U of L managed to eke out wins against opponents they probably should have had an easier time with on paper...I'll take it and move on to the next one.

Exactly, a lot of times a team does better in the short term without their "star". Sort of like when UT beat KU.
