I liked the Indians game plan in the first half though. They played an extended, moving zone that didn't completely shut down, but slowed Mason. Another big helper was getting two very quick fouls on Setty in the first quarter and a third in the second. I wonder why they did not go right at him when they started the third.

On a side note...

After seeing both Clark and Mason play, I hate to say it, but Clark will run away with it unless they just come in sleepwalking. Mason had trouble staying with Montgomery's guards in different situations (how Setty picked up 2 of the 3 early fouls). Now the first thing a Mason fan will say is "Well we held Montgomery to 46 points so we weren't that slow," which I agree with. But Clark has proven to have more players that are quicker than Montgomery, and have more of them. I just don't feel Mason will be able to handle it.

Poor Ole Mason we shall see Friday night huh...Did'nt Clark only win by like 7 at Montgomery earlier?Mason had a 35 point lead at one time here tonight...Don't matter what we do we just cant seem to get any love..:isurrender::rolleyes:

MCHS radio said that Mason had a 27-0 run from just before half time deep into the 3rd quarter.

Montgomery couldn't handle Mason's pressure defense. Their shooting percentage couldn't be over 30% on the night.

Mason shouldn't have any trap games. They're just now getting their full team on the floor.

Was that the game in Mt Sterling,I was thinking it was like a 7-10 point game..But thanks..

The first GRC game was at Montgomery Co. I think GRC won by 12. It was the 2nd week of the season.

Thanks,Thats the score i was looking for..

Clark did play Montgomery earlier in the season, and I was a little surprised at the close game. The second game wad a whole different story. Granted Montgomery came our extremely flat, but they came out flat in the second half as well.

You can not compare games that happened a few weeks into the season to games at this point.

Montgomery County fights to tie the score at 18 apiece and forces Mason County to call a timeout. Then when Mason increases the pressure, Montgomery County does not respond. Montgomery County finishes with 19 turnovers. Back to the drawing board. Big game at Bracken County on Friday night.
