February 1, 201016 yr Sometimes the moves Doc Rivers makes, really makes me wonder how he is a coach. I don't understand putting Eddie House in for Rajon Rondo when Rondo is your leading scorer and has been making work of the Laker defense. Let Rondo get the ball and let him use his athleticism and skills. He runs the Celtics offense and produces alot of their points through his scoring and his distrubtion of the ball (I believe he had 12 assists for the game also...). Really, really bad coaching move IMO...

Really, really bad coaching move IMO... He was trying to force the Lakers to defend the entire court. With Rondo in, LA would have laid off and dared him to shoot. It also would have made it easier for his defender to help out somewhere else or clog the lane on a drive. I don't think Celtics fans want Rondo taking an 18-20 footer with the game on the line. In that situation, they want Allen or Pierce taking the shot. House forces LA to stay at home, which gives Pierce a better chance to create a shot for himself or someone else. I didn't mind the decision. JMO
February 1, 201016 yr I'm not all that excited about this game. I think Kobe needs to shut it down for a few weeks and get that finger right. It's obviously not 100% and I am started to get worried it is going to show come playoff time. I'm glad they won don't get me wrong but I just don't think the Celtics are all that good. They are the 4th best team in the East IMO. The Lakers are not playing very well right now. Can he get it right without surgery? I was under the impression that he couldn't. I assumed he was playing through it now to adjust and get a better feel for playing with the injury so he'd be ready for the playoff run. The Lakers won't repeat with Kobe playing at his current level. But, I expect him to raise his game come playoff time. They're just trying to get through the grind of the season and be ready for the playoffs.

He essentially has 2 busted fingers now.

He had surgery to fix the previous injury last off-season I believe. If he can get to 100% or close by taking some time off, then I think LA would be better served to have him ready for a playoff run. However, if the fingers will heal anyway, whether he plays or not, he may as well play. I don't know the details.
February 20, 201016 yr No he didnt have surgery to fix it in the offseason he said he wasnt going to have surgery. True Warrior!
