No. The only two girls on the all tourney team not in at least the semis, were

Sarah Beth Barnett LCA and Kelsea Mitchell of Green Co.(sorry about spelling)

Thanks. I thought they would get 1 on there.

I support the coach and know that things go on behind the scenes that people aren't aware of. However, what justification can a coach give for benching his two best players on their biggest stage of the year? Walton didn't have a chance of winning without them and they didn't. The All A State title is what most of the small schools dream of winning, it is their championship. The girls work hard to try to accomplish this and it is not fair to them to not even give them a chance because the coach is trying to prove a point or send a message. I'm just confused about why such a drastic move was made during such a critical game. Again, hopefully they will rebound and finish strong.

If a team is capable of winning the All A state title I'd guess they are capable of winning their regular regional tourney. I've always felt some teams focused too much on the A and not on the main goal. If Coach Miller is preparing his team for the district and regional good for him.

Not to be rude or offend anyone...but.....I don't think that it is anyone's business why they did not play. Obviously there was a reason. That was a decision that was made by Coach Miller. He must have thought that it was a good enough reason for them to get some bench time. Whatever happened to the old saying "what happens in the locker room stays in the locker room".

Not everyone is going to agree with the decision that is made but it was made. Coach Miller has done an outstanding job. They have a bigger picture that they are shooting for and it is a very possible one. :thumb:

Good post. Hopefully they can carry their momentum into next week.
