January 22, 201016 yr Yeah, I've got an Enfield, a Swedish Mauser and a German Mauser that I try to buy surplus ammo for. You can usually see the corrosive build-up pretty clearly by the time you've shot 5 or 6 rounds through them. I generally wish mine were clean by the time I'm half way back to my house. I guess you could say I'm a little :jump: about cleaning too. Is the Enfield a British .303 or an Indian 7.62x51?
January 23, 201016 yr Author A girl with a gun....wow...! She went and shot very well again tonight. I knew I loved her for a reason!
January 28, 201016 yr Man I am nuts about keeping mine clean by comparison. Of course the Nagant shoots corrosive ammo. That makes a bit of a difference. If I don't clean my Nagant the same day I shoot, it looks like a chia pet the next day.
January 28, 201016 yr Is the Enfield a British .303 or an Indian 7.62x51? It's the .303 - Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk. I
January 28, 201016 yr It's the .303 - Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk. I Excellent. I have some friends that want one but only want to get one in NATO 7.62(meaning Indian).
