Holmes used a 16-2 run in the third quarter to put the Indians away.

Sounds about right, Holmes wins by more than 10 less than 20 and everyone plays. Low scoring as expected and another Holmes victory.

Was Kevon Rice held scoreless, out sick or back in the doghouse? He appeared to be playing well as of late.

 

Kevon played but has struggled the past 2 games. He missed 3 or 4 EASY layups in this game and had several bad defensive possessions in a row so Henley sat him the majority of the game.

 

I'd say he played 10 minutes, at the most.

I might have missed something in the past few weeks or even months. But where is transfer from Conner? His name is slipping my mind at this moment but he was a very good player for Conner last year. It just hit me the other day that I haven't heard anything about him.....is he eligible?

Demetrius Avery fractured his ankle during the Ballard game and hasn't played since.

 

He was expected to be out around 3 weeks so he should be back sometime this week or next week.

I've seen Holmes play 3 times this year. Look for them to get upset in the Region and if not, they wont win a game this year in the state (and that is not taking anything away from last year). Just not the same team. :eyeonyou:

If you count this game as one of the three you could get fooled. Holmes is 30 pts better than Holy Cross but coach Henley continues to keep games like this closer than they would be come tournament time. He really reigns them in at times and this is probably one of those times.
